Location: South of Minneapolis
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare patients for imaging exams by reviewing provider orders and notes, confirming the correct exam, accurately assessing patient needs, positioning them appropriately, and providing necessary education.
•Ensure accurate patient records by promptly and correctly entering information into all relevant electronic health systems (e.g., HIS/RIS, PHA, PACS) and department-specific programs.
•Efficiently manage both scheduled and unscheduled tasks in a calm and organized manner, anticipating needs and assisting others to maximize productivity in patient care and departmental tasks.
•Stay up-to-date in the field by continually enhancing professional skills and knowledge through CEUs, self-study, research, and discussions, maintaining competency in all assigned exams and the ability to adapt to various assigned areas.
•This version aims to clarify the responsibilities while maintaining the original intent.
Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:
•RDMS - ARDMS registration in Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARDMS Registry eligible and completion within 6 months of hire
•RVT – ARDMS registration in Vascular or RVS – ARRT registration in vascular or completion of RVT/RVS within one year of hire
•Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtain within six months of hire, company paid)
Ultrasound Tech Schedule:
•80hrs/2wks
•Monday-Friday - Late morning/evening shifts (10:30am-7pm or 2:30pm-11pm)
•On call including after-hours weeknight rotation and every 4-5th weekend rotation
Ultrasound Tech Benefits:
