Diagnostic Radiology TechnologistQualification •Licensed with IEMA ARRT (R) registry eligible •Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire •American Heart Association BLS Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Job Description •As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, the radiology technologist, under the guidance of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures with a level of independence. They use their judgment and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include collecting patient medical histories, answering questions about imaging procedures, and following provider instructions on areas to image. Diagnostic Radiology TechnologistKey Responsibilities •Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic exams, as directed by physicians. •Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety. •Operate radiology equipment with precision to obtain clear and accurate images. •Review and analyze images for quality assurance and to detect any abnormalities. •Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
