Rio Rancho, NM    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Up to $30,000 Sign-On Bonus Available / Up to $10,000 Relocation Assistance Available / Full-Time Position / Up to $12,000/Year in Student Loan Reimbursement Position Overview: MLR.org is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our client's dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a key part in patient care, providing expert anesthesia services across various surgical and procedural settings. Your expertise will be vital in conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, administering anesthesia, and closely monitoring patients throughout their procedures. Key Responsibilities: •Anesthesia Administration: Safely administer anesthesia to patients for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. •Pre-Anesthesia Assessment: Evaluate patients' medical history, conduct physical exams, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. •Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure stability. •Post-Anesthesia Care: Oversee patients' recovery from anesthesia, managing pain and monitoring for complications. •Patient Education: Inform patients and families about the anesthesia process, risks, and post-procedure care. •Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. •Emergency Response: Respond quickly to anesthesia-related emergencies, providing necessary interventions and support. Education and Experience Qualifications: •Current New Mexico and federal DEA certificate. •Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of New Mexico. •Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. •Current certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor. •Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. •Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. •Current American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. •Current New Mexico CRNA license.
