Omaha, NE    Behavioral Health Social WorkerFull Time / Competitive Pay Social Worker Job Summary: As a Behavioral Health Social Worker, you will work directly with individuals and families to provide mental health assessments, case management, and therapeutic interventions. Your role will be integral in delivering high-quality care that addresses the emotional and psychological needs of clients facing various challenges, including mental health conditions, trauma, and life stressors.Social Worker Qualifications: •Required: •Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program. •Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW, LCSW, or similar). •Strong understanding of mental health disorders, social work practices, and case management. •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. •Experience with behavioral health assessments and crisis intervention. •Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care. Social Worker Key Responsibilities: •Provide mental health assessments and screenings for clients, including adults, children, and families. •Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the healthcare team. •Offer individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic practices. •Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral issues. •Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, psychologists, nurses) to ensure comprehensive care. •Assist clients in accessing community resources, including housing, employment, and social services.
