Webster, NY    ASCP Medical Technologist / Technician - Blood BankFull-Time | Day Shifts | Rotating weekends and holidays** Sign-on Bonus Eligible! ** MLee Healthcare is searching for a highly skilled Medical Technologist that will conduct various laboratory tests and procedures crucial for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. We seek an ideal candidate with a robust background in clinical laboratory science, exceptional analytical skills, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: •Laboratory Testing: Conduct complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. •Quality Control: Perform and document quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. •Sample Analysis: Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques. •Data Interpretation: Interpret test results and correlate laboratory findings with clinical data to assist healthcare providers in patient diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications: •Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. •Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent is preferred. •Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail. •Knowledge: In-depth understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements.
