Harvard, IL    Radiology Technologist - Cath Lab Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Sign-On Bonus MLR is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Cath Lab. In this role, you will support the care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the EP/Cardiac Cath Lab. Additional duties may include managing inventory and distributing or delivering medications as necessary. Preferred Qualifications: •Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiography •A.R.R.T. certification required •Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license required •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification •One year of cardiovascular radiology experience preferred, including both non-invasive and invasive procedures Key Responsibilities: •Set up and prepare imaging equipment and sterile fields for cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab. •Assist cardiologists and the healthcare team with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures. •Operate fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment to capture real-time heart and vascular images during procedures. •Monitor patient vitals and responses, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedures. •Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging while adhering to radiation safety protocols. •Process and analyze imaging data to ensure accuracy and clarity for interpretation by cardiologists. •Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and healthcare professionals for seamless patient care before, during, and after procedures. •Manage inventory of cath lab supplies and equipment to ensure availability and functionality. •Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment. •Accurately document procedures, patient records, and imaging data.
