Canton, IL    ARDMS Certified Ultrasound Technologist Sign-On Bonus: Up to $16,000 Employment Type: Full-Time / Multiple Shifts Available MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at a respected hospital in Illinois. In this role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic imaging, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Responsibilities: •Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. •Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. •Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues. •Analyze ultrasound images to identify abnormalities or potential pathologies. •Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations. •Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care. •Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risk to patients and staff. Qualifications: •Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field. •ARDMS Certification required. •Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. •Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and team members. •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards.
