Position Overview: •Job Type: Full-Time •Location: Indiana •Shifts Available: Various shifts, including days and evenings •Salary: Competitive, based on experience Key Responsibilities: •Perform laboratory tests and procedures in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking. •Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring accurate and reliable results. •Prepare samples and perform routine diagnostic tests in accordance with established protocols. •Assist in the analysis and interpretation of test results, communicating findings to medical staff as needed. •Adhere to quality control standards and safety protocols to ensure accurate testing and a safe working environment. •Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with laboratory guidelines. Qualifications: •Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (or equivalent education and experience). •Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent organization (preferred, or eligible to obtain). •Experience: Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply. •Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. •BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
