Columbus, OH    Certified Athletic Trainer Position Overview: MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Ohio. This role involves providing exceptional care to athletes with a focus on their safety, well-being, and performance. The position requires on-site coverage at assigned schools and community events, where you will be responsible for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the development of conditioning programs, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Educational Requirements: •Minimum Level: Bachelor’s degree •Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent •Field of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field •Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience Licensure & Certifications: •Current Athletic Training license in Ohio •Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification •National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (BOC) Key Responsibilities: •Provide on-site athletic training services at designated schools and community events. •Perform injury prevention, clinical evaluations, diagnoses, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. •Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to Premier Health standards. •Participate in continuing education to stay updated with industry trends. •Engage in public speaking to promote sports medicine awareness and educate on injury prevention. •Assist in cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department. •Deliver exceptional customer service to athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders. •Collaborate with other members of the sports medicine team to enhance department effectiveness.
