Key Responsibilities for Respiratory Therapist: •Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with diverse respiratory conditions. •Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and airway management. •Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory status and create individualized care plans. •Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes. •Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. •Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies. •Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in line with regulatory and organizational standards. Respiratory Therapist Qualifications: •Active, unrestricted Oregon Respiratory Therapist (RT) license. •Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program required. •BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred. •A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting preferred. New graduates with solid clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
