Grants, NM    Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a leading healthcare facility near Grants, NM! Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU: •Provide post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort. •Engage in a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role within the PACU department. •Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days – no on-call required! •Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patients for potential complications following surgery. •Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. •Collaborate closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. •Educate patients and their families on post-operative recovery and home care instructions. •Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU: •Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Mexico is required. •Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. •ACLS and CPR certifications are required. •PALS and NRP certifications are preferred. •Previous experience in PACU, critical care, or surgical settings is preferred.
