Should the need arise, an NP can be integrated into your practice, with their compensation directly drawn from the doctors’ collections, enhancing your earning potential.
Financially, this position is highly lucrative, with annual earnings projected between $300,000 to $350,000 when working alongside an NP, complemented by a medical director stipend ranging from $80,000 to $100,000. You can choose between a 1099 arrangement—which allows for greater autonomy but requires personal management of medical malpractice insurance—or a W2 structure, providing additional stability.
