Southern Georgia    (Physician/MD qualifications required) Anesthesiology (Critical Care) - Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician
Compensation: Competitive guaranteed salary, commensurate with experience.
Job Type: 26 weeks on|26 weeks off (typically 7 on|7off unless mutually agreed upon by anesthesiology team). Call required during week on; critical care call and back up for anesthesiologists on.

Our client, a reputable medical center in Georgia, is seeking a Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, team-based environment with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and provide perioperative care for critically ill patients across various clinical settings, including the ICU and surgical operating rooms.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to critically ill patients.
Monitor and manage vital signs, airway, and other aspects of anesthesia care in critically ill patients, adjusting as necessary to ensure patient safety.
Perform preoperative assessments, including risk stratification and planning, to optimize patients for anesthesia and surgery.
Respond to emergency situations and provide resuscitative measures, including advanced airway management and pharmacological interventions.
Assist in the management of patients with complex medical conditions, including organ failure, multi-system trauma, and post-surgical recovery.
Provide teaching and mentoring for residents, fellows, and other healthcare team members.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research within the department.
Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required.

Job Requirements:
Completion or upcoming completion of anesthesiology residency and a critical care fellowship
Required Certifications|Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
