Southern Georgia    (Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice (Academic/Research) - Family Medicine Physician - Residency Faculty
Compensation: Guaranteed salary, competitive and commensurate with experience; negotiable based on GME experience or fellowship training.
Job Type: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Schedule includes: 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day, and dedicated administrative time for GME education. No overnight call required unless opting into OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage.

Our client, a well-respected medical center in Georgia, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician – Residency Faculty to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate physician educator to make a lasting impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong clinical and academic support.

Responsibilities:

Provide full-spectrum Family Medicine continuity care in an outpatient setting
Actively engage in resident education through precepting, didactic lectures, and collaborative program development with core faculty
Support curriculum design and innovation within the residency program
Teach and supervise residents in low-risk prenatal and postpartum care
Optional opportunities to teach residents in inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics (not required)

Job Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. degree
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency by start date
Board-certified or board-eligible through ABFM or AOBFM
Georgia medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
In good standing with current employer or residency|fellowship program
Committed to supervising and training residents in full-spectrum Family Medicine, including outpatient care, low-risk prenatal|postpartum care, and optional inpatient|OB care

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in Spanish|English
