Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified X-Ray Technologist for a multi-specialty practice in Bronx, New York.

Requirements:
~ Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or related field
~ New York State License required
~ ARRT Certification preferred
~ Medical background (EMT, CMA, Medical Assistant) preferred
~ New Graduates are welcome to apply

Benefits:
~ Up to $60 per hour salary
~ Per-Diem position

Responsibilities:
~ Verify patient identity and review physician orders before x-ray procedures
~ Use x-ray equipment to capture radiographic images of bones, tissues, and organs according to physician orders
~ Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
~ Position patients properly, including assisting those with limited mobility
~ Limit radiation exposure by placing lead shields as needed
~ Ensure quality of x-rays to avoid repeat procedures
~ Collaborate with Radiologists to determine need for additional tests
~ Maintain and monitor x-ray equipment condition and notify management of issues
~ Keep accurate records of completed procedures
