Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department of an Acute Care | Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in trauma settings and enjoy fast-paced, team-based environments. The schedule consists of night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

Qualifications
~ Education: Active RN license in New York State (required)
~ Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS (required)
~ Experience:
~~ Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (required)
~~ Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers (strongly preferred)
~~ Proficient with both Adult & Pediatric populations (required)
~ Technical Skills: Experience with EPIC EMR (preferred)
~ Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and collaboration in fast-paced settings
Key Responsibilities
~ Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
~ Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in trauma situations
~ Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
~ Follow all BLS & ACLS guidelines for critical interventions
