Position Overview
Join a leading academic medical center in Syracuse, NY as a Speech Language Pathologist. You’ll assess and treat complex communication and swallowing disorders in acute care patients while contributing to clinical education and research in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications
~ Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
~ Licensure: Active New York State SLP license
~ Certifications: ASHA CCC-SLP (Clinical Certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent)
~ Experience:
~ Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year required
~ Outpatient experience preferred
~ Soft Skills:
~ Strong interdisciplinary collaboration
~ Family education and advocacy
Key Responsibilities
~ Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
~ Develop and implement customized treatment plans
~ Conduct instrumental swallowing evaluations
~ Maintain detailed patient records and adjust plans as needed
~ Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings
~ Provide supervision and mentorship to students|clinical fellows
