What You’ll Do
- Lead Clinical Strategy: Oversee and elevate the delivery of hospice and palliative care across the Capital Caring Health program in the Washington, D.C Area.
- Mentor and Inspire: Recruit, supervise, and support a team of dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Ensure Quality: Drive quality, compliance, and clinical performance improvement across interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver Care: Provide direct medical care when needed, maintaining a strong presence and availability across the program.
- Collaborate Broadly: Work with Chapters Health System leadership and participate in key committees, planning efforts, and system-wide initiatives.
- Educate and Advocate: Promote the value of hospice and palliative medicine through community engagement and professional education.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice in VA, MD, and DC.
- Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABMS or HMDCB) preferred.
- At least 8 years of clinical experience and 5 years of leadership experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in hospice or palliative care.
- Strong background in team leadership, quality oversight, and physician development.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
