Position Overview:
We are seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to join an Acute Care | Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Level 1|2 trauma center environment.

Qualifications:
~ Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
~ Licensure: Active New York State RN license; Current BLS & PALS (ACLS preferred)
~ Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
~ Technical Skills: EMR proficiency (EPIC required)
~ Soft Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
~ Provide evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
~ Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs
~ Operate and manage advanced critical care equipment
~ Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
~ Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
~ Document care thoroughly in EPIC
~ Respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
~ Educate and support patients and families
