Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join a prestigious Acute Care | Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. This role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center environment.

Qualifications:
~ Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
~ Licensure: Active New York State RN license (required)
~ Experience: Minimum 3 years of PICU experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
~ Certifications: BLS & PALS required; ACLS preferred
~ Technical Skills: EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
~ Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
~ Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
~ Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
~ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
~ Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge planning
~ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
