Key Responsibilities
Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning: Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Activity Selection: Create activities to improve independence in daily living.
Progress Monitoring: Track resident performance, adjust treatments as needed, and prepare detailed reports.
Rehabilitation Support: Assist residents recovering from illness, injury, or other conditions.
Safe Environment: Promote a clean, safe, and supportive setting for residents and staff.
Confidentiality: Protect resident information and maintain trust.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care and progress.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License.
Experience preferred, but new graduates|CFYs are welcome to apply.
Location: Based in the Mohawk Valley, with coverage at nearby facilities including Utica and Rome.
