Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Pediatrics unit at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, family-centered care to pediatric patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Qualifications:
~ Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
~ Licensure: Current New York State RN License and BLS Certification (must be current or able to recertify)
~ Experience:
~ Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 2 years) in a facility of similar size and level
~ Strong pediatric inpatient experience strongly preferred
~ Travelers considered only if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
~ Technical Skills: Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
~ Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:
~ Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications and treatments
~ Monitor patient conditions, develop and implement patient care plans, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
~ Educate patients and families, and maintain accurate electronic health records
