Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative rehabilitation facility in Willows, CA. This per-diem role offers the chance to provide impactful patient-centered care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
~ Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
~ Licensure: Valid CA COTA certification, state licensure, and BLS certification
~ Experience: Minimum of 1 year in rehabilitation or outpatient settings
~ Technical Skills: Proficiency in therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment, and documentation
~ Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
~ Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
~ Guide patients through therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, cognition, and daily living tasks
~ Monitor progress and adapt interventions under OT supervision
~ Document patient responses and maintain accurate clinical records
~ Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
