Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the specialized imaging team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in interventional procedures and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications
~ Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field
~ Licensure|Certification:
~ New York State License, Registration, or Eligible
~ Current CPR certification
~ Registration certification for Contrast Injection required
~ ARRT certification must be obtained within 1 year of appointment
~ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive technical experience
~ Technical Skills: Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures
~ Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
Key Responsibilities
~ Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
~ Operate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipment
~ Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols
~ Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures
~ Maintain sterile field and assist with invasive procedures
~ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
