Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to serve as a vital member of the Emergency Department Float Team. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential patient care across the ED, supporting nursing staff and ensuring a high standard of care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment.

~ Work Schedule:
~ Full-time
~ Day, Evening, and Night Shifts available
~ 6 shifts (12 hours each) per 2-week period
~ Every other weekend required

Qualifications
~ Education: High school diploma or equivalent
~ Licensure: Active New York State CNA Certification and CPR certification required
~ Experience:
~ At least 1 year of direct patient care experience
~ Level I trauma experience required
~ Technical Skills: Proficiency in vital signs, patient hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
~ Soft Skills: Adaptability, compassion, strong teamwork, and ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities
~ Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
~ Assist patients with ADLs and maintain hygiene standards
~ Obtain and record vital signs accurately
~ Assist with procedures and patient transport
~ Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient environment
