Position Overview
We are seeking a Child Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide specialized mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with only one on-site day per week. Bilingual candidates are required.

Qualifications
~ Education: Master of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited PMHNP program
~ Licensure: Active New York State PMHNP License
~ Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above
~ Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid; Bilingual (mandatory)
~ Technical Skills: Child psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapy modalities
~ Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families
Key Responsibilities
~ Provide psychological assessment and therapy to children aged 6 or above
~ Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
~ Maintain active Medicaid provider status
~ Collaborate with team members
~ Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations
