Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine to lead the substance use treatment program in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This leadership position requires specialized training in addiction medicine and offers competitive compensation with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications
~ Education: MD or DO with completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship
~ Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
~ Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine; leadership experience preferred
~ Requirements: Active Medicaid provider number; Active DEA certification
~ Language: Spanish proficiency preferred
~ Technical Skills: Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development
~ Soft Skills: Leadership, cultural competence, empathy, strong communication, collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities
~ Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program
~ Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards
~ Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations
~ Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment
~ Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification
~ Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
~ Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population
