Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Pinal County Public Health Services District (PCPHSD). The Medical Assistant is a vital member of the clinical team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care. You’ll assist patients with intake and screening, support providers during exams, and manage essential clerical duties. Qualifications
~ Education: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)
~ Certification: CPR certification and required immunizations
~ Experience:
~ Experience in both front- and back-office medical functions
~ Familiarity with EHR systems and HIPAA compliance standards
~ Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
~ Greet and assist clients with forms, applications, and health program information
~ Review and maintain accurate client records and documentation
~ Perform front-office duties including cashiering and payment reconciliation
~ Take vital signs and perform basic reproductive health tests under supervision
~ Assist with patient exams and clinic preparation
~ Provide educational materials and help clients access community resources
