Position Overview:
Join our behavioral health team in Syracuse as a Mental Health Therapy Aide supporting evening-shift operations. This role is critical in providing therapeutic assistance and maintaining a safe environment for patients in psychiatric and behavioral health settings.

Qualifications:
~ Education: High School Diploma or GED
~ Certification|Licenses: Current CPR certification required
~ Experience:

~ Direct psychiatric|behavioral health experience required
~ Soft Skills:
~ Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
~ Proven collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:
~ Provide direct therapeutic support and crisis intervention
~ Monitor patient safety and behavior during evening shifts
~ Assist with group activities and daily therapeutic programs
~ Document patient interactions and report changes to clinical staff
~ Maintain a therapeutic environment consistent with facility protocols
