Experienced full time PAs or NPs to work in the office doing 100% Pulmonary Medicine with this well established group of 10 Pulmonary /Critical Care physicians and 6 mid-level providers.

Position Highlights:


  • Patient Evaluations- Obtain comprehensive medical histories focused on pulmonary complaints (e.g., cough, dyspnea, wheezing, sleep disturbances). Perform detailed physical examinations, emphasizing respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
  • Diagnosis and Management:
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests:
  • Pulmonary function tests (PFTs)
  • Chest X-rays, CT scans
  • Oximetry and arterial blood gases (ABGs)
  • Sleep studies (polysomnography)
  • Develop and implement management plans for:
  • Asthma, COPD, Interstitial lung disease, Pulmonary hypertension, Sleep apnea, Bronchiectasis and other chronic lung diseases.

 


  • General Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct scheduled outpatient visits (new consultations and follow-ups).
  • Review incoming test results and patient messages.
  • Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations for inhalers, biologics, or equipment.
  • Participate in case discussions and continuing medical education (CME) related to pulmonary care.
  • Schedule:
  • 4.5 day work week: Monday -Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm, Fridays - until noon.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
