Southern    (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Magnetic Resonance (MR or MRI) - Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Licenses|Certifications
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support (required)
• One of the following (required):
• Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR), or
• Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Experience | Skills
• Ability to safely lift and|or maneuver patients with assistance to perform job functions
Principal Accountabilities
• Perform MRI procedures, including patient preparation, explanation of procedures, positioning, contrast administration, and selection of appropriate imaging techniques
• Ensure technical quality of scans and enter|monitor patient data accurately
• Conduct quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and matrix camera; assist with accreditation applications (ACR and others)
• Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions promptly to department management
• Participate in departmental emergency call coverage
• Deliver safe, high-quality care to patients, staff, and visitors; adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and standards, including time, supply, and productivity management
• Support professional growth through mandatory education, continuing education, and skills competency; serve as preceptor, mentor, and resources to less experienced staff
• Demonstrate commitment to compassionate, personalized patient care and model organizational service standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
