Less than 100 miles to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida    (Physician/MD qualifications required) Emergency Medicine - Emergency Medicine Opportunity - Nocturnist

Serves the emergency care needs of the region by offering quality emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the region’s only Level II Trauma Center. Our Emergency Department currently consists of 32 patient beds with specialized treatment rooms for major trauma and resuscitation and other emergent needs. Evaluating more than 60,000 patients annually, which averages 150–200 patients daily, Continues to make strides in patient care by providing the most effective emergency care to our patients as we undergo a major expansion project resulting in a total of 66 beds.
Practice Highlights:All ED physicians are residency-trained and board-certified in Emergency Medicine High acuity in Level 2 Trauma center Independent fast track staffed with mid-level providers Zone model with Physician, APP, and RN practicing together in each zone Equitable schedule with a 7-day block off every month Average of 14 shifts per month, 9 and 10-hour shifts
