Responsiblities: Physical Therapist
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients using the principles and practices of physical therapy and in accordance with the patient's age, developmental level, and diagnosis. Collaborates with treating physicians provide quality care to patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Evaluates patients, establishes goals, and develops individualized treatment plans as prescribed by a licensed physician|practitioner.
Provides direct patient treatment based on current physical therapy practice and revises treatment plan based on the patient's response.
Required Qualifications: Physical Therapist
QUALIFICATIONS|LICENSE:
Current Florida Physical Therapist License
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree is required. Must be graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy in accordance with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Master's and|or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy are preferred.
McKenzie Method Certification (MDT): Certified practitioner in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, with experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal disorders using evidence-based techniques.
