$140k-$190k per year
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Midwife to join our practice full time in the Freeport, NY Long Island area. The incoming nurse practitioner|midwife must be compassionate, an excellent clinician, and someone who is experienced in women’s health or willing to learn gyn. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group, and the incoming Nurse practitioner|Midwife will be focusing on women’s health|gyn within the office for outpatient only.

Duties:
• Patient exam|evaluations (physical exam, review pertinent medical history|records|imaging) Annual wellness exam
• Order|review diagnostic testing|labs|bloodwork
• Perform Pap smears, preferred Colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, removal of IUD
• Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
• Patient education re: diagnosis, treatment plan options and lifestyle modifications
• Treatments for acute and chronic conditions
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Collaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient care
• Make phone calls|emails as needed or required for patient care
• Medication refills as needed
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Midwife program
• Nurse Practitioner|Midwife license in NY
• Women’s health experience or willingness to learn
Schedule:
• Full time
Compensation (range):
• $140k-$190k per year (depending on certifications|experience level)
