Your Role:
As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and supporting patients with sleep and cardiopulmonary disorders. You’ll work independently while collaborating with physicians and care teams to deliver accurate, high-quality sleep studies for patients of all ages.
What You’ll Do:
Perform and monitor overnight sleep studies (polysomnography)
Analyze and score sleep data in accordance with clinical standards
Apply physician orders and departmental protocols to patient care
Identify and respond to complex clinical situations in real time
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures
Maintain equipment and uphold technical quality standards
What You Bring:
Required:
Completion of ASTEP program or equivalent education|experience
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of recent sleep technology experience
Preferred Certifications (any of the following):
RPSGT (BRPT)
CPSGT (BRPT)
SDS credential (NBRC)
