Job Title: Full time 12 hour shifts no calls OB Hospitalist/ Laborist with NO Gynecology- hospital near Manhattan

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Obstetrics and Gynecology (Laborist) - Full time OBGYN Hospitalist| Laborist required for desirable location about 30 miles from Manhattan. 4 positions open due to growing volume.
Varied 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays
No on call
Responsibilities include providing obstetrical care only. No GYN. The OB|GYN Hospitalist will provide patient assessment and triage, coordinate care with the patient's OB|GYN, care for unassigned patients in the Emergency Department , perform emergency deliveries, assist with surgical procedures.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Base compensation is $3,20,000 to $ 340,000 . Full benefits including vacation, 403 B, malpractice coverage etc.
Start date is as soon as credentialed ( 2-3 months from signing the contract)
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Medical Degree - MD or DO and a valid active or in process NYS Medical License
Completion of an OB|GYN Residency and|or Fellowship program
New grads accepted if they have a completed a fellowship.
Board Certified or eligible in OB|GYN
Minimum two (2) years’ experience is preferred
Must have OBGYN experience either outpatient or inpatient only.
