Job Title: Physical Therapist Needed in Boulder, CO
In HouseID:
28 miles northwest of Denver (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Physical Therapist - A family-owned, PT-owned outpatient orthopedic clinic in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to join its team. This is a true 1-on-1 patient care model — no PT aides — with 30-minute visits for both evaluations and follow-ups, and an average caseload of about 15 patients per day. The clinic treats a general orthopedic and sports medicine population and prides itself on a high-energy, collaborative, low-key culture with minimal corporate red tape. The owner works full-time treating patients alongside the team of about 5 PTs and 4 front desk staff.
This is a full-time position (30+ hours), though part-time candidates will also be considered, with a highly flexible schedule — Monday through Friday only, no weekends. Clinic hours run as early as 7 AM and as late as 6 PM, and therapists build their own schedule (four 10-hour days, five 8-hour days, etc.) as long as no one exceeds roughly 11 hours in a day. Start date is ASAP.
Compensation is salaried at $75,000–$95,000|year, with no productivity requirement — therapists are paid regardless of no-shows or late cancellations. Benefits include health insurance (50|50 employer-employee split), 401(k) with a 3% employer match after one year, separate paid sick and vacation time, and a continuing education|tuition benefit. Dental and vision are not offered, and no sign-on bonus or relocation assistance is provided, though the clinic is open to candidates relocating from out of state and enjoys highlighting Boulder's active, outdoor lifestyle as a draw.
Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience, ideally in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine, though new grads with a strong related background (athletic training, massage therapy, etc.) will be considered. No specific certifications are required. The ideal candidate is self-driven and independent, collaborative, upbeat, and comfortable working with high autonomy in their treatment approach. Growth opportunities include a defined path into the Clinic Director|management role.
The interview process begins with a resume review and phone|Zoom screen with the Clinic Director, followed by an in-person clinic visit where the candidate meets with the owner, who typically makes the final call on offer and salary.
