Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 16 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment with a busy acute-care imaging department. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Tech who is comfortable working independently and performing inpatient MRI studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule
• Shift: Night Shift
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• 36 hours per week
• 3x12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Strong experience performing MRI examinations in an acute-care environment
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned studies efficiently
Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols.
• Provide MRI services primarily for inpatient studies as assigned.
• Properly prepare, position and assist patients throughout MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain appropriate image quality and patient safety standards.
• Work independently while collaborating with radiologists, nurses, physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, infection-control and departmental procedures.
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must be available to work 2 of the following 3 major holidays:
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day
Candidates must also be available to work 1 of the following minor holidays:
• Friday after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve
