Job Title: Direct Primary Care - Madison
In HouseID: DPC-KH-101
(Physician/MD qualifications required) Internal Medicine - Direct Primary Care
Madison, Wisconsin
An established Direct Primary Care organization in Madison is recruiting primary care physicians to join a growing membership-based practice with existing patient demand.
This is an opportunity to practice primary care with the time and flexibility to build meaningful physician-patient relationships without the insurance billing, coding requirements, and visit-production pressure common in conventional primary care.
Unlike many DPC opportunities that require a physician to begin with no patient base, this position is expected to start with approximately 225 existing patients. Additional individual and employer-sponsored demand supports continued panel growth.
Position Highlights
* Guaranteed Base compensation
* Approximately 225 patients available at the outset
* Full employee benefits
* Approximately 3.5–4 office days per week
* Approximately 45–60 minute patient visits
* No insurance billing or coding
* Relationship-based Direct Primary Care
* Existing individual and employer-sponsored patient demand
* Compensation reviewed approximately every six months based on panel size
* Established multi-location DPC platform rather than a startup practice
The practice model is designed to give physicians enough time to provide comprehensive longitudinal care, manage appropriate outpatient needs directly, and develop lasting patient relationships.
The right physician will be interested in Direct Primary Care because of the way it changes the practice of medicine; not simply because it reduces visit volume. This is a strong fit for a physician who values clinical depth, continuity, reasonable patient access, broad outpatient medicine, and sustainable panel development.
For physicians who have considered DPC but do not want to assume the financial and operational risk of building an independent practice from the ground up, this opportunity combines a relationship-based model with the stability of employment, benefits, established infrastructure, and existing patient demand.
Madison, Wisconsin offers an established university and healthcare environment and may be particularly attractive to physicians seeking a long-term home in the Upper Midwest.
